The Meadow House is a magnificent modern house, set in 2 acres of wooded grounds. We offer superior Bed and Breakfast accommodation in spacious rooms, some of which have king size double beds. Park your car on arrival, in our large car park which is located at the side of the house. The entrance to the house is at the rear of the property via the first patio door.
The variety of accommodation endeavours to cater for all requirements, e.g. A suite of rooms, that can accommodate up to six people. It comes complete with a covered south facing balcony and an en-suite bathroom – ideal for a family. A triple room, which is located on the ground floor, is ideally suited to those who would rather not climb the stairs. It has three single beds and its own en-suite bathroom.
The ‘Coach House’ is a spacious annex to the main house. It has one double and one single bed to accommodate up to three people. It also has an en-suite bathroom. Other non en-suite rooms consist of a double and twin room, both with private hand basins, and one other twin room, all of which share a well equipped bathroom. ALL of the rooms have televisions, central heating and tea and coffee making facilities.
The Meadow House is non-smoking in all rooms; we do however provide ashtrays for guests requiring to smoke on the patio outside the entrance, as well as on the balcony that accompanies the suite of rooms.
Please be aware that Sat Nav’s cant seem to find 2A High Street, they take you past The Meadow House to the green triangle of grass at the bottom of Isaacson Road near to No. 2 High Street and No. 6. If this happens please look behind you and you will see a bus shelter with a post box beside it and a layby.
Look behind this and you will see the 3 very big houses up on the hill, Meadow House is the first one up the gravel drive.

A Word About Burwell
Burwell is a large village ten miles from Cambridge, four miles from Newmarket and close to the A14, Ely and the fens. Both the famous racecourses at Newmarket are only four miles away.
Burwell has a lot to offer our guests. There are four nice pubs that offer a wide choice of food and local ales, one pub even doubles as a mexican restaurant. There is also a very nice Indian restaurant and several takeaways. There is also a selection of shops in the village with a co-operative shop and a costcutter newsagent. There is also a post office, Jet petrol station and a local pharmacy.
